BIOTENSEGRITY Workshop
with Phannie Haver
BIOTENSEGRITY
The Teaching of the Body
A Biotensegrity – Informed Movement Re-Imagining
A brief view into the current anatomy Paradigm shift.
“Anatomy for the 21st century'”
Biotensegrity is a new systems science that integrates modeling life from the virus to the vertebrae.
Learning this new way of looking at the body opens the mind to what’s possible for a body, far beyond what biomechanics has provided thus far. This shift includes the multi-dimensional aspect of fascia, soft matter physics, geometry of life and much more.
A very important shift for all movement educators- dance teachers, yogis, as well as anyone who loves movement.
Biotensegrity Class with Phannie Haver
We will be exploring concepts and re-examining our beliefs about how the body works and how that’s applicable to all of life. This class is great for movers, teachers, yoga and pilates practitioners, dancers, martial artists, athletes and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of themselves.

VISION BOARD Workshop
What are you looking to bring into your life for 2021?
Sunday, January 31st
with Jenny Warchesik as your guide
Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises you can do.
“If you think vision boards are bogus, then the joke’s on you. They work, and there’s actually a really simple explanation of why they work so well. Creating a sacred space that displays what you want actually does bring it to life. What we focus on expands. When you create a vision board and place it in a space where you see it often, you essentially end up doing short visualization exercises throughout the day. “ – Huffpost
Through a guided meditation we will begin our Vision Board by centering and aligning with your hopes and desires for 2021. What are you looking to bring into your life? By connecting through visual inspirations and intentions we will be creating a Vision Board.

Authentic Movement
with Phannie Haver
Saturday, Sept. 28th 10am
Authentic Movement is a somatic practice for deeper connection to self. The format is Mover and Witness. The Mover closes their eyes, drops into the moment, and waits to be moved. Initiated by our original intelligence, our primal knowing, the body, beyond mind. The Witness holds space for the Mover. Keeping them both physically safe as well as watching their intimate connection to self without judgement. The Witness also plays the role of reflecting back to the Mover what they see, holding space to hear their experience and expand on the deeper meaning held within.
Authentic Movement is a self guided journey to the center of self. Becoming aware and deconstructing the beliefs that hold us prisoner.
Phannie Haver
After graduating after 6 years at Denver School of the Arts, she pursued holistic healing through massage therapy, energy work, somatic movement, and Aikido. Opening her own dance studio in Santa Monica, CA in 2011, the studio focused on teaching dance in a manner that not only didn’t damage the body, but made it healthier and happier. Phannie’s focus now is on teaching dancers conscious embodiment to make sure they’re always taking care of the health of their body as well as connecting students to the heart of their dance, so to express what it is they truly love.

“Primal Tribal Yoga Flow & Summer Wine Celebration”
July 25th, 7:30pm
Within all of us is a primal self—a beautiful animal body that is ready waiting to be unleashed. Release energetic blockages in a profoundly deep way through this creative yoga practice that balances the energy of the Divine Feminine: Shakti and Sacred Masculine: Shiva.
Primal Tribal Flow – inspired by traditional hatha Vinyasa, Kundalini, and aspects of modern Buti Yoga, will have you moving and breathing to sensual and heart pounding beats that help you let go and set yourself free. Connect with the tribe around you as you breathe together, dance together, and release together. The Asana is only the beginning—the primal and tribal movement will carry you into deep meditative relaxation and inner bliss.
– The movement part of class will be about an hour plus there will be a solstice celebration where everyone can contribute in making a sun mandala with the flowers. The idea is the act of creating something beautiful and sacred together is a healing act. As you create the mandala, you infuse it with intention and hold a vision of peace for our planet and one another. Honoring the sun, one another, and the beautiful world we live in.
– Bring yoga matt, comfortable clothing/athletic wear, barefoot, water bottle and maybe a little towel.
Instructor: Samantha Brown believes that the movement of the body and breath, whether through art, music, dance, athletic activity, or the expansive practice of yoga, is the direct expression of the soul. Her classes involve carefully composed melodies of movement that are both challenging and accessible to all levels, while cultivating mindfulness through loving awareness.
Samantha’s mission is to create a space in which students feel safe and empowered to explore inner and outer worlds, deepening and experimenting in their own unique possibilities through practice. Outside of instructing, she is an artist, music fanatic, animal lover, consciousness explorer, and total goof.
She looks forward to meeting you on the journey, after all “We’re all just walking each other home”. -Ram Dass
